ASTM A563 is the standard specification for carbon and alloy steel nuts of various grades
in sizes from 1/4 inch to 4 inches for general structural and mechanical applications on bolts,
studs and other externally threaded components. A563 nuts from Glaser and Associates are
available in seven grades, A, B, C, C3, D, DH and DH3, offering different mechanical and
chemical properties for specific applications. ASTM A563 also covers the American
Association State Highway and Transportation Officials Standard AASHTO M-291.
These nuts are designed, manufactured and tested to comply with the standards set by
ASTM A563 for hardness, proof load and chemical and mechanical properties.
